The free market is a gratitude multiplier, with two satisfied people walking away from every non-coerced transaction. http://chum.ly/n/32fe00

That CAN be true in the free market, but I often walk away from a transaction DISsatisfied. My health insurance costs over twice as much as my mortgage each month and I often have to fight them to pay my claims. I am DISsatisfied with each costly transaction. My husband has medicare, and he does NOT have to fight them to pay. I can't wait til I'm on medicare. And I want social security to be there as a safety net. I don't consider those services to be wasteful spending.
