Crony capitalism, or "Corporatism" is not a different form of government than Socialism, it is instead a method socialists us to compromise free market capitalism. I like this line from the end of the article: "And that is how in crony America taxpayer money goes from one insolvent pocket, to another, to Wall Street, all under the guise of idealistic pursuits and clean energy." This is what governments at all levels do when you give them the power to do it. They always sell themselves as Robin Hood and turn out to be Prince John when you lift the hood.
